older..

listen.. this happened a couple of days back when i was going to 30th street station in the Market-frankford rail line. the girl sitting next to me took out a small fancy notepad from her handbag and started writing something for the next 20 mins.. i pressed the ‘next’ button for abt a dozen times in my player to hold on to a good number. she got a call and that’s when i cud see wat she was writing.. it was a bulleted to-do list for the wknd.. saw some words like ..finish.. wrap up.. no sleep.. send fotos.. when was the last time i did something like this? may be in 2003-04.. with all the bubbling energy, i did that.. took pleasure in crossing each task after completion.. those days..  i feel now that am old and aged.. age is now added to my list of uncertainties.
